UNDP is looking for non-governmental and non-profit partners to cooperate with developing three discussion papers on various themes of anti-corruption in the Arab region. The themes are: (i) The past anti-corruption efforts of civil society in Arab countries and prospects for enhanced civil society engagement after the events of the Arab Spring in 2011; (ii) The role of the private sector in the Arab countries in anti-corruption issues, focusing on the topics of internal compliance and the interface with the State; (iii) Law enforcement in Arab countries and the de jure and de facto obstacles undermining actual implementation of anti-corruption criminal law.
