Transparency International (TI) is the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. Through more than 100 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it. TI’s Research Department supports the organisational mission by conducting global research (such as the Corruption Perceptions Index) and coordinating research projects by TI’s National Chapters. It also engages regularly with the global research community on anti-corruption. The temporary part-time assistant would support the overall work of the Research Department with a focus on administrative tasks around workshops, project reporting and communication-related tasks.

Temporary Part-Time Assistant in the Research Department

Provision of general assistance to the Research Department.

Main Tasks:

  • Support in all aspects of the organisation and execution of workshops, meetings
  • Assistance in project management, project financial management and reporting and communications

Knowledge, experience and skills:

  • Background in management, business administration, social sciences, psychology or another relevant field with a special interest in NGO and project management
  • Experience in project and budget management for an internationally operating non-governmental organisation a strong asset
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) essential
  • Very strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to effectively manage different priorities
  • People and service orientation
  • High intercultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
