A new ESRC-funded project on, "The Global Experience of Corruption: A Comparative Analysis" requires a social scientist with good statistical skills applicable to the multi-level analysis of sample survey data bases covering more than 100 countries from five continents. The project leader is Professor Richard Rose, director of the Centre for the Study of Public Policy, and Transparency International Berlin is the project partner. There are good opportunities for publication and international networking. The appointment is for one year in the first instance; the ESRC grant is for four years.
