Posted by Farzana Nawaz

Transparency International, the leading civil society organisation fighting corruption worldwide, will release its 7th Global Corruption Barometer on UN Anti-Corruption Day, 9 December 2010. This year’s survey is the biggest ever, covering 91,500 people in 86 countries.

The Barometer surveys opinions on whether corruption has increased and which institutions are considered most corrupt. It also asks if people have paid a bribe in the past 12 months, to whom and for what.
