International Anti-Corruption Summer Academy 2012
Programme Overview & Objectives: The International Anti-Corruption Summer Academy (IACSA) is an intensive ten-day programme designed for familiarizing participants with contemporary insight in selected areas of corruption theory and anti-corruption practice. Apart from lectures, IACSA also includes roundtable discussions and opportunities for the exchange of experiences, with the overall goal of helping bridge the gap between theory and practice. IACSA aims to foster a culture of the reflective practitioner, while also developing and enhancing skills useful for the workplace.
Curriculum: IACSA will offer a wide array of lectures from the fields of ethics, psychology, economics, political science, sociology and law, catering to all sectors of society. It will also offer two round tables on thematic anti-corruption issues.
Target Group: IACSA
aims to bring together around 70 participants. Applicants should be
anti-corruption practitioners such as senior investigators, prosecutors, judges,
compliance officers, prevention experts, auditors, NGO personnel and
journalists, who have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the prevention
of and/or fight against corruption. Students and researchers in areas (closely)
related to anti-corruption are also eligible to apply.

In addition, non-native English speakers must present a certificate of English proficiency.
