Brigitte Zimmerman 

Brigitte Zimmerman is a scholar of comparative politics, with a focus on the political economy of corruption. Specifically, she examines the strategic responses of political officials to anti-corruption interventions that increase transparency and accountability, and the informal institutions of accountability between citizens and political officials. She typically studies Sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on Malawi and Zambia.
