Between the 2nd to the 4th of September, the International Anti-Corruption Conference is being held in Putrajaya in Malaysia. The theme this year is "Ending Impunity: People, Integrity, Action"

The 16th International Anti-Corruption Conference is currently taking place in Malaysia. Over 800 participants are gathered to discuss all things anti-corruption, with a specific focus on this year's theme; Ending Impunity: People, Integrity, Action.

The biannual conference brings together heads of state, civil society, the private sector and more to tackle the increasingly sophisticated challenges posed by corruption.

With speakers including anti-corruption heavyweights Daniel Kaufmann and Sarah Chayes, noted whistleblower John Githongo, and Transparency International Chair Jose Ugaz, this year's conference is sure to have a big impact.

Mr Ugaz, in a speech yesterday, demanded that the Malaysian President answer questions about a US$700 million donation that he received.

You can keep abreast of the discussions and information from the conference by following the action on the live stream.
